BIR- Books I Read
It all started when…

I joined my college with hatred to books which I believed was innate. I thought I have already rote too many books to get into a good college, its time for me to take a break. When I joined my institution the only books I have read apart from course books were “You Can Win” and “Wings of Fire”. I never had a smoldering desire for reading. A year passed and I was sick of my college too. I had too much free time so I decided to read something as it was innocuous and I had nothing better to do without moving any portion of my body. So, the first book that landed in my hands was “Tuesday s with Morrie’s” and it took me a month to finish it. I enjoyed every page of it and realized that, apart from being harmless, they are interesting too. Since then, I have been ardently in love with books. In last one year reading has been a custom, sometimes finishing 2 books in a week. Now I can’t visualize my life without books. From enemy they became my closest friend, teaching me the various small but vital lessons, helping me to grow faster, changing the meaning and philosophy of my life. As they say
“Books are the legacies that a great genius leaves to mankind, which are delivered down from generation to generation as presents to the posterity of those who are yet unborn.”

Lovely use of word web my friend, and a certain someone forgot to mention a poor soul instrumental in creating in her an "ardent" love for books.
Anyways on a more serious note, welcome to the blog world, and yes here's to our love for books.
Cheers!!

P.S. Some one's really honed her writing skills (grammar and spellings included)

Thanks a lot for your encouraging words. As for spellings, I use dictionary.com and word web to get it right :D.
A special thanks to Saumya for introducing me to the world of books.
